Valencia Basket repeats at La Fonteta to host Monbus Obradoiro
Valencia Basket men's team repeats at home to face Monbus Obradoiro (Saturday 29, 8:45 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 3) in an Endesa League round 29 game.
The Taronja squad will seek to extend its good dynamics in the national competition at La Fonteta (where they have won nine of their last ten acb games) to protect the eighth position and take another step towards guaranteeing for 17th season the Playoffs spot against a rival that speeds up their mathematical chances of being in the post-season.
The precedents in La Fonteta are clearly favorable to the Taronja team by 11-1, and although the Galicians took the win over Valencia in the 2018-19 season, we have defended our gym in the last three visits of the Santiago team. In the first leg game at Fontes do Sar, the Taronja squad won after extra time by 98-103.
Sam Van Rossom, Klemen Prepelic, Xabi López-Arostegui, Jasiel Rivero and Millán Jiménez will be sidelined, although the absence of the Cuban power forward will allow the Taronja squad to activate point guard Jared Harper for this game and the roster will be completed by a player from L'Alqueria del Basket.
Valencia Basket begins this round located in the 8th position of the Endesa League with a record of 15-14.
